Life Drawing - 25min poses

I had a pretty good morning at life drawing Saturday. I threw away a few disasters but salvaged some lessons from today's experience.
I'm beginning to utilize some of the advice of Richard Schmid from his book Alla Prima in identifying edges and blocking in values while also incorporating line drawing to identify my proportions and add some flourish here and there.

Brasil!

You DID have a great morning Ray. Great value studies overall and I love the attention to detail in the gesture in the hands on the bottom one, but not overdone!

Actually, that sketch has a great hierarchy of values which makes really pleasing to look at!

Does it actually sound like I know what I'm talking about?
