Light side... er.. um... meat?

ok I'll work through lunch for this little bit of fun...:)

The other, other, green meat

Force Lightning cooked over an open Sarlac pit.

This week's challenge: Yoda Meat

From Clayton's 4 year old. Pure genius:

'We were sitting at the table having dinner last night when my 4 year old said, “We should have Yoda meat some time.” After I was done laughing (and explaining the limitations of the meat department at Albertsons), I was thinking that might make a good challenge for the unleaded blog… assuming Lucas doesn’t sue us or something. It’s just a thought. I wanted to share that golden memory with you anyway.'

Froggy Went A-Courtin'

Everyone's favorite Japanese tourist in New York, making a play for one of the local babes.
I give up. I'm tired of looking at this already. There, are you happy now?

My personal obsession

I'll let the man himself say it:

"They were not composed altogether of flesh and blood. They had shape...but that shape was not made of matter. When the stars were right, They could plunge from world to world through the sky; but when the stars were wrong, They could not live. But although They no longer lived, They would never really die. They all lay in stone houses in Their great city of R'lyeh, preserved by the spells of mighty Cthulhu for a glorious resurrection when the stars and the earth might once more be ready for them...:"

Cthulhu waits to reap your soul!

That distant roar was of course the deep rumbling of Cthulhu's maw that embodies infinite disparity and hopelessness. He also has an umbrella to keep the rain off his head.

CHALLENGE II: 1-18-08 Monster

Check out this trailer from the new JJ Abrams movie (creator of Lost and Alias) and come up with a visual what the monster could look like. You can take this in a variety of directions. It can be completely realistic or stylized, serious or funny.

Couple of things that were mentioned in the trailer that could help:
-its huge
-its alive
-animalistic roar
-strong enought to decapitate Lady Liberty

Late to the Party

I had planned to have a very complicated scene here but as usual I was time challenged. Until 2 1/2 hours ago, this was a pencil drawing. I almost submitted it too but I felt guilty since everyone turned in color paintings. It was almost an X-rated painting too. I just didn't have the guts so repositioned the chick on the steps lower to make it more family friendly. Heh.
